The salon is one of my favorite places to have to "me time". Today I scheduled an appointment right after finishing my psychology exam and walked right over the the Aveda Institute on Gd. River. One of the things I love about being on a college campus is the convenience of restaurants, bookstores, cafes, etc. Michigan State's campus is a large community. I am learning how to take advantage of its resources. Now that I've completely swayed away from my initial purpose of this entry I will continue on about my trip to the salon. My appointment was set for a hair cut, I just wanted long layers. After speaking with the beautician I realized it wouldn't be bad to get a well-needed wash and botanical treatment. The cost is reasonable for a broke college student. I think that everyone should treat themselves every now and then. After leaving here, I will most likely meet up with Krystall at Barnes & Nobles ( one of my favorite chill spots) to discuss some business ideas and maybe play with Adobe Indesign a bit.
The rest of the day is undecided, I am contemplating the gym or Bible study; I think either or would suffice.
The beutician is steady working on my hair... I will post pictures later, depending on the quality. :)
Until Next Time
