Lets be honest, us Americans only perceive two races; White and Black- Caucasian and African American ,but ironically America isn't the only country that lacks perception.
Because I only have 12 channels onthe television in my college dorm room, I frequently tune into CBC, which is a Canadian channel. They sometimes show interesting fashion shows, but that's besides the point. CBC aired this Knorr commercial... In the commercial was a Caucasian figure and an African American figure. The African American was (pepper) and the Caucasian was (salt)... Hmm, not quite the most creative idea,I actually was a bit disturbed by the fact that the creative director would use salt as a white person and pepper as a black person to convey the message that less salt is used in this particular food.
